Almeda's Divinity degree is earned by those who display a broad biblical, theological, and practical understanding of religion with the intent of entering pastoral, missionary, or other education ministries. This degree is well suited for candidates who have completed a portion of seminary or theology training and who are in preparation for the practice of ministry and other forms of religious leadership.
The Divinity degree reflects a multi-faceted curriculum design. As a comprehension basis, solid knowledge of the Bible is required and cultivated. Similar to degrees in Ministry, this knowledge is used to spread the word of God to a mass audience. It acknowledges the ideological, ethnic, and cultural diversity of Christianity, examining its traditions and contemporary circumstances in a global context and in relation to other religious faiths. Service to others and personal enlightenment are demanded through teaching and leading by exceptional example.
