Almeda's Christian Studies degree is awarded to those whose education reflects a path that embodies the philosophy of Jesus Christ. Through pursuit of this degree, students must demonstrate a strong familiarity with major figures in Christianity, its main tenets, and its role in society in order to articulate the components of a Christian worldview in comparison and contrast with other religious worldviews.
In acquiring this degree, students will focus on the study of Christian scripture, literature and philosophy, and reflections of Christianity throughout ancient and modern societies. As with our Christian Ministry degree, this concentration is well suited for those pursuing a life of service in the church.
